Our latest signing Eden Homer has revealed it’s time for the boys to dig in deep and get behind manager Ian Cotton to get the club back where it should be.
Homer, who joined Clipstone at the beginning of October, is renowned for his hard work ethic and his ability to score goals from midfield – in pre-season Homer actually scored against the Cobras.
The former Shirebrook midfielder has said that he is aiming to help contribute to getting those vital points on the board.
“Now, I’m really looking forward to all the games coming up and trying to help this club get back to where it should be in the league, and that certainly isn’t where we are at the moment. I already feel good here, I’ve spoken with the manager, the coaches and of course the lads and I have been made to feel really welcome”.
Eden debuted against Hall Road Rangers earlier this month and came away with the man of the match award. He also featured against A.F.C. Mansfield and again impressed the Clipstone faithful with his performance. Unfortunately he missed the recent F.A. Vase game due to being cup tied.
The versatile midfielder can play in most positions on the pitch and has featured in a defensive role for the Cobras, but will be looking to cement his position back in his favoured central midfield role.
