New Clipstone F.C. manager Micky Taylor says preparations for the 2018/19 campaign are well underway, as the new management team prepare to welcome the players back for pre-season training tomorrow.
Micky has held numerous conversations with plenty of players which will hopefully see a change in fortune for Clipstone in the new season. The Cobras boss revealed that work is going on behind the scenes to bring in further ‘quality’ additions to the group.
The Gaffer remarked: “It’s been a good summer so far, I’ve been away, caught a bit of sun, watched the world cup and done a little bit of work too!”
“Everyone needs that downtime, the supporters and committee need it too, but one thing that is always consistent is that we’re looking forward to another campaign and hopefully a successful one.”
Taylor added: “I have spoken to Danny, Matt and some of the other lads and they are all like me, excited to return and I’m sure there will be a few fresh tans when we come back!”
“I’m just dead excited for it all to start again. Me and my management team would also like to say that our main objective is to be professional, competitive (competing for trophies) but most of all to put the smiles back on the faces of the most important people in the club which is the fans and the committee who keep turning up week in week out to keep this fantastic football club going.”
