Dave Hoole has completed a hat-trick of signings this week at Clipstone F.C.
Midfielder Daniel Fields, striker Jonathan Collo and winger Billy Page have all arrived to the Lido Ground.
The Cobras are looking to improve on their start to the season and have brought in reinforcements.
Hoole told the club’s website: “We’re a young side, so an experienced head like Billy and someone who is going to communicate what we want on the pitch is what the team needs and that should help us for the rest of the season.
“Under normal circumstances, you wouldn’t think you could get these lads so the moment we knew they were available we tried to make it happen pretty quickly.”
Daniel Fields has just come back from Abu Dhabi and his brother Josh also plays for Clipstone. Hoole added:
“To be honest, when I got the text that he could be available we jumped at it really quickly because he fits the identity of something we’ve been looking for.”
Collo, 24, has come in from Sheffield University and will look to bring energy and competition for the strikers.
Hoole said: “We’ve had him training for a couple of weeks now and we’re pleased we’ve been able to get it done and now the lad joins giving more competition for Billy and Sheldon. I think he can come in and give us something different to what we currently have.
Finally, winger Billy Page will add experience and quality to the team. At 30 Billy will be one of the oldest players in the squad but don’t let that fool anyone. This player will be a huge asset to the club.
“He has a great left foot and the one thing people will have seen in his game is the quality of his delivery out wide, so we’re delighted to add him to the squad.” Hoole added.
