Barrow started off the better side and played some impressive football although the management for the visiting side would’ve liked them to have got their shots off quicker. Clipstone rode their luck and did well to weather the storm. The Cobras did in fact take the lead when Jack Siddall went with a fierce strike from distance which goalkeeper Andrew Simpson couldn’t keep hold of.
Just before the break Barrow looked like they could’ve equalised after two great efforts were stopped by keeper Ogden. HT 1-0.

After the hour Clipstone we’re back on top and Josh Pickering broke the offside trap to slot home brilliantly to put the Cobras back on top.
Town almost drew level when their stabbed shot hit the post and Clipstone keeper Sam Ogden brought off a save in the 84th minute to deny the Barrow striker.
