Impressive Clipstone go 4 unbeaten.

Goals from substitutes Josh Devereux and debutant Ethan Knowles were enough to give the Cobras all three points in a hard-fought game. Which takse them into Christmas on a 4-game unbeaten run in the league

Knowles, signed midweek from Sherwood Colliery, showed great awareness to take his chance and seal the points after Devereux’s classy strike had broken the deadlock.

Manager Dave Hoole was delighted with his young sides performance and equally delighted to have secured their second clean sheet of the season.

“We limited Radford to very little and the defence was outstanding. Josh took his goal brilliantly and has really upped his performances of late and is giving me a real headache which is exactly what we want players to do”.

Hoole also noted the quality performance of debutant Ethan Knowles. “He came here with a big reputation and is very well respected locally, we understand why. Ethan is a quality player and his finish for his first goal just echoed that”.
