Cobras boss Dave Hoole has made a double swoop ahead of this weekends game against Gedling Miners Welfare.
We can announce that the paperwork has been completed on the signings of Matt Layton and Declan Sorrell.
Sorrell signs with the Cobras on a duel registration from Sheffield F.C. and Layton arrives from Maltby Main. Both players could make their home debut in tomorrows fixture.
“I’m delighted to get both players over the line and I’m looking forward to working with them,” said boss Hoole. “Dec is someone I know well and have been after all season, he’s a quality player and Matt is a lad we have been really impressed with during training sessions.”
“Matt will come in mainly to be used as a left-back with the ability to play further up the field if we need him too, while Dec is a striker. Both lads will really add to the strength of the squad and have already started causing us selection headaches”.
