Hoole looks ahead to the weekend.

Clipstone make the trip to the Stag Ground, Kimberley, this weekend (26th September) with the Cobras looking to make it 3 wins in 3.

The Cobras sit in third place before tomorrow’s encounter, while Kimberley are three places below in 6th place, winning their opening game against Radford 5-0, and drawing their second against Borrowash Victoria.

Tom Weaver and Rob Paling will both be in contention tomorrow and both hit milestones in appearances. Tom is one game away from hitting 30 matches, whereas Rob is 1 game away from 320.

The Cobras boss, Dave Hoole is looking forward to the match, he commented: “It looks like it’s going to be fast paced, with 90 minutes of competitive football, both sides have started great and it will be a interesting match”.

“We had some great games with Kimberley last year and It’ll be good to see how they have improved this year, with another chance for both sides to battle it out on Saturday afternoon”.

After Tuesday night’s victory over Dunkirk, the manager has some team selection headaches, with first team captain Jason Foster and the experienced Chris Smith both back from slight knocks.

“We’ve got some decisions to make, Fozzy comes into the picture, as well as Chris Smith, so a change of formation will be an option. Fozzy, again, is going to play a big part in our season. Some tough decisions will have to be made”.
