There’s no hiding from poor form.

After an excellent start to the season and coming out of the traps in good form the Cobras have started to hit a rut.

Speaking just after the Clifton All Whites performance, Club Captain Lewis Warwick said: “Things have gone down hill and once again, we were punished for our errors. We have been warned that all our mistakes would be capitalised on, but it seems that this is happening all too often.

“Clifton’s three-goals before the break put us on the back foot and, despite improving in the second half, they defended well an we were unable to get a proper chance on goal.

“After the game the dressing room was understandably down but there’s little to be gained from sulking, so the lads picked themselves up and today is the day we will hopefully get a reaction.

“The next victory will be a great lift and potentially the catalyst to keep moving forward.”
