Clipstone FC have had a number of staff changes over the last few weeks including the departure of Tom Maloney who has entered into his last 6 months of his masters degree in Physiotherapy. Tom will be focusing on finishing his masters and also his current placement in the NHS. Clipstone FC management would like to wish Tom well in his future endeavours in Physiotherapy.
Secondly, physio Emma Young has joined Chesterfield FC first team as a Physiotherapist whilst also playing for the Chesterfield Ladies team. Emma will still be involved at Clipstone FC and will be around to help support our new physiotherapist appointment.
Emma and Tom were a crucial part of the team over the last few seasons ensuring the players received top quality care and RTF schedules along with assisting with players returning from injury and improving fitness.
On the contrary, Dave Hoole has appointed 41 year old goalkeeping coach Ryan Skidmore to assist Malc Siddall in his role. Ryan has played a vast amount of games at non-league level for Clay Cross Town and last season as reserve keeper for Clipstone FC featuring a number of times while Number 1 keeper Sam Ogden was out due to injury. Ryan will be a key part in helping our goalkeeping department and ensuring that they are ready for the upcoming season.
The Gaffer has also appointed Ray Whitton as a conditioning coach – Whitton is best known for his career in cage fighting and will be a big part in helping players fitness in the final 20 minutes of a game – Ray will be a key part of the Clipstone FC backroom staff and will ensure the players are fit for the season ahead.
Finally, Luke Randle has been appointed as the new Sports Therapist for Clipstone FC – Luke returned home after 2 years in the states training to become a Sports Therapist and will continue his studies in the UK and will become a integral part of Clipstone FC’s backroom staff.
