Brigg Town vs Clipstone FC Sat 28th August 3pm KO

Clipstone FC face Brigg Town at The EC Surfacing Stadium with a 3pm KO. Clipstone are looking to get 3 points against Brigg after a battling performance against Rossington Main in mid-week which saw the Cobras lose 2-0. Whilst Brigg are looking to continue their fine form after beating Armthorpe Welfare, 7-2 in mid-week with Stephen McCarrow grabbing a second half hat-trick before Andrew Taylor and Dayle Hutson scored late on. Clipstone will be looking to put in another battling performance against Brigg with players like Jack Warwick returning to the squad this Saturday.

Brigg, who currently sit 3rd after winning 4 out of 6 are looking to grab their 5th win of the season against the Cobras after beating sides like Ollerton, Hallam and Armthorpe. Alfie Usher who has scored 5 goals in the league is looking to continue his fine scoring form against the Cobras. Also, Martin Pembleton will be a huge threat to the Cobras defence after bagging 3 goals in the league so far in the season. Brigg will be siding a strong side against the Cobras and they are wanting to continue their fine form on Saturday.

Clipstone, who currently sit 12th are looking to grab their 3rd win of the season after a mid-week defeat against Rossington and Rainworth the weekend before. In Mid-week players like Jason Foster returned to action and Liam Carrington started his first game of the league campaign too for the Cobras. Sam Ogden will also be a crucial part of the squad after a fantastic performance in mid-week against Rossington.
