Goals from Jack Siddall and Josh Pickering sent Barrow Town to their first defeat in three as Clipstone went away with a 2-1 victory.
Aaron Ridout replied for the visiting side eleven minutes Into the second half but they could not find an equaliser as Barrow played the last 30 minutes with 10 men.
The hosts took the lead when Jack Siddall went with a strike from distance to fire into the net after goalkeeper Andrew Simpson couldn’t keep hold of the fierce shot.
Just before the break Barrow looked like they could’ve equalised after two great efforts were stopped by keeper Ogden.
Town played well in the first half and could feel aggrieved for being behind although their pressure eventually paid off following Clipstone not clearing their lines from a corner with Ridout slotting home.
After the hour Clipstone we’re back on top and Josh Pickering broke the offside trap to slot home brilliantly to put the Cobras back on top.
Town almost drew level when their stabbed shot hit the post and Clipstone keeper Sam Ogden brought off a save in the 84th minute to deny the Barrow striker.
