78 mins Kimberley’s Jordan Lambert turns his marker on the edge of the box and fires past Ogden for the winner as the Cobras exit the FA Vase at the first hurdle.
Dave Hoole comments: Reflecting on yesterday’s FA Vase game, was really unlucky not to come away with the win, played some great football, creating chance after chance, but bad decision making being a little naive and individual errors has cost us, we scored a very well worked goal 2 min before halftime then concede a goal a minute later through a mistake took the wind out of our sails, but second half we created chances to win the game but conceded a late goal through another individual mistake, was missing a couple of main players through injury and illness, but hopefully get a full squad back for next Saturday, overall plenty of positives but disappointed not to be in the next round
